Description

The Model 281 reissue delivers the original’s four function generators, which can output independent signals or be linked in pairs for more complex outputs. Input a pulse, and each generator ramps up to the full 10V level based on the panel settings and full CV control. Pair the and optionally use OR to create four-stage envelope, a scheme that’s more flexible than conventional attack/decay and ADSR envelope generator interfaces.

Features:

  • Four function generators operated independently or in pairs
  • Three modes per generator: Transient, Sustained, and Cyclic
  • Ramp up rate is the sum of the Attack knob and its CV input
  • Sustained mode: Voltage remains high as long as the input pulse is maintained
  • Ramp down is determined by the sum of the Decay knob and its CV voltage
  • .001 - 10 second time ranges (Attack, Decay)
  • Quadrature mode: A and B operate in tandem with their functions shifted by ninety degrees in relation to each other; use OR for ADSR envelopes
